I’m SO excited to announce that Upwords has been recognized globally – receiving Silver in the Peter Cooper Award for Qualitative Excellence at ESOMAR Congress in Prague. This is yet another accolade for Project UpLift!
This recognition is especially meaningful: as an independent, women-owned Canadian boutique research consultancy, we were standing shoulder to shoulder with some of the biggest global players in our industry. To be celebrated on this stage proves that small but mighty teams can drive impact on a global scale. 🌍💪
Project UpLift was a collaboration with Children of the Street, a not-for-profit dedicated to preventing the sexual exploitation and human trafficking of children. Together, we set out to understand the barriers holding parents back from having meaningful conversations with their kids about online safety — and to design solutions that empower parents to act.
This recognition on the global stage is a testament to the power of our exceptional team at Upwords to collaboratively turn data into actionable insight — and to the passion of our incredible partners who helped make this project happen: Canada Market Research, Recollective, Paige Bruno Designs, and WILL.
A huge thank you to ESOMAR and the judges for recognizing this work, and congratulations to the other finalists and winners whose inspiring projects are advancing our industry.
Most of all, we’re grateful to Children of the Street for their tireless efforts to protect young people across Canada and for trusting us with this important work. 💛
